~All Soulsī Day~
~Brass Premiere~
~red white and blue~
~
Zombies Sunday~
(1)
All Soulsī Day
Lovely ladies, like
of old, clutching at umbrellas like
troopers at their parachutes, with looks like
weeping windscreen wipers.
(2)
Brass Premiere
In the evening then
her slender figure in that long black gown,
her fair plait glimmering,
her trumpet pressed against
her breast,
her belly breathing and
her baby blues face
promising.
(3)
red white and blue
susquehanna shenandoah names of
blood and beauty
waves are dying on the
riverbanks
wandering clouds upon the
riverbeds
caressing voices
white with weeping
(4)
Zombiesī Sunday
This
long row of old
faces
at the breakfast bar,
spooning off the
chiming of the
church bells.
